About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for its senior living setting in Bolingbrook, Illinois. The role involves assisting with treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists and providing direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications. The assistant monitors and documents patient progress, reports observations to the Physical Therapist, and educates patients and families about treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques. The position works collaboratively with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to coordinate care and support effective treatment outcomes. The role is based in an assisted living setting, with opportunities to float to sites in Plainfield, Aurora, and Naperville. The posting describes a flexible schedule and consistent hours available. The wage range is $35–$38 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
