About The Position

As a US Pharmacist - Pharmacy Operations & Training Specialist, you will serve as an internal subject matter expert on US pharmacy operations. This role involves conducting in-depth research on US pharmacy operations, including workflows, regulatory standards, staffing structures, and industry best practices. You will continuously stay updated on changes in US healthcare regulations, pharmacy systems, and operational models. The position requires breaking down and defining key roles within a US pharmacy environment, mapping responsibilities, workflows, and interdependencies, and translating operational structures into clear process frameworks. You will also document detailed responsibilities and define key performance indicators (KPIs), develop structured training manuals, SOPs, onboarding guides, and reference materials, and monitor updates in US pharmacy regulations, insurance systems, and software platforms, revising and updating materials as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Active registered pharmacist license in India or the Philippines
  • 1–3 years clinical or corporate pharmacy experience with strong analytical and writing skills
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and simplify complex regulatory and operational pharmacy processes
  • Experience or strong aptitude in SOP writing, documentation, or training material development
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work independently in a structured, output-driven remote environment
  • Willingness to work US Pacific Time (PST/PDT) night shift schedule without interruption

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on US pharmacy operations, including workflows, regulatory standards, staffing structures, and industry best practices.
  • Continuously stay updated on changes in US healthcare regulations, pharmacy systems, and operational models.
  • Break down and define all key roles within a US pharmacy environment (e.g., Pharmacist in Charge, Staff Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, Pharmacy Clerk).
  • Map responsibilities, workflows, and interdependencies between roles.
  • Translate operational structures into clear process frameworks.
  • Document detailed daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities for each pharmacy role.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure efficiency, compliance, and operational performance.
  • Support the development of standardized performance expectations across roles.
  • Develop structured training manuals, SOPs, onboarding guides, and reference materials based on research findings.
  • Convert complex operational and regulatory information into clear, easy-to-understand learning content.
  • Ensure documentation is consistent, scalable, and aligned with US pharmacy standards.
  • Monitor updates in US pharmacy regulations, insurance systems, and software platforms.
  • Revise and update training materials to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance.
  • Support continuous improvement of operational documentation and learning systems.
