About The Position

The Outpatient Therapist (a Licensed Therapist) is responsible for providing support to the day-to-day operations of the Intensive Outpatient program including, but not limited to: administrative functions, utilization review, assessment, discharge planning, group/individual therapy, case management, and other duties related to delivering a successful program. The Outpatient Therapist will conduct group therapy as well as some individual and family therapy. Will create treatment plans and updates as part of an interdisciplinary team approach. The Outpatient Therapists will be working with potentially all of the populations that we serve. Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, and the Adult population. Requirements

  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work or a clinically related mental health field.
  • Must be licensed (or under supervision) as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT, in Indiana.
  • CPR certification
  • CPI training prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.
  • Willing to work 8:00a-4:30p and possibly some flexible hours.
  • Practice SERVICE EXCELLENCE on a daily basis!!!

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years clinical experience in a psychiatric facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills
  • Strong clinical assessment skills
  • This time in the field can include practicum and internship studies or work at a mental health institution while an undergraduate.
