About The Position

CARE Counseling, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our team in Mankato, MN. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care Team, you’ll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone. This position is based onsite with flexibility for telehealth sessions at home. Some evening and/or Saturday availability is preferred.

Requirements

• Master’s-level clinician licensed in Minnesota as an LPCC, LICSW, or LMFT. Licenses must be active and unrestricted

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of professional experience providing behavioral health services, post master’s degree
• Experience providing outpatient therapy to individuals and/or families
• Experience conducting diagnostic assessments
• Experience with treatment planning
• Experience maintaining a caseload
• Experience entering pertinent information in Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems
• Experience using athenaOne (formerly Athena EMR)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and provide outpatient therapy to individuals and families with a wide range of mental health and substance use concerns
• Deliver evidence-based treatment using approaches such as CBT, DBT, and other therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient's needs
• Track patient progress and treatment outcomes, making adjustments to care plans as clinically appropriate
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic medical record
• Support patient access and practice growth by participating in provider marketing initiatives, including the creation and maintenance of professional online profiles
