About The Position

Devereux Pennsylvania Services is seeking a Full Time Outpatient Therapist to join their team. This role involves conducting individual and family therapy, with a focus on helping individuals become resilient and focused on their own wellness and recovery. The position offers opportunities for growth, collaborative work with an integrated treatment team, and continued training in evidence-based practices. The therapist will work with individuals ranging in age from 2 to 21 years old, depending on enrollment through a school district, with a wide range of clinical diagnoses. The work environment is an office location, and the hours are typically 10 am-6 pm or 11 am-7 pm.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work
• Previous experience conducting individual and/or family therapy, preferably with children and adolescents, required.
• Requires strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Must be adaptable to changing workload, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and available to work a flexible work schedule.
• Must have the ability to travel to and from work site, and be at least 21 years of age.
• Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of software programs (i.e. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, family and collateral therapy for assigned individuals, including intakes as needed.
• Will participate in the implementation of at least one specialized evidenced based practice (DBT, TF-CBT, and/or PCIT).
• Creates initial resiliency plan within 3 sessions and ensures proper documentation is complete.
• Reviews all Psychiatric evaluations and recommendations are being followed.
• Assists in hospitalization if required.
