About The Position
Signet Health is actively seeking an experienced, licensed therapist to join our award-winning, hospital-embedded outpatient behavioral health program at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Requirements
- Minimum of a Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience working with adult patients.
- Active LICSW, LCSW, LCPC, or LPC licensure in any U.S. state is required at the time of hire.
- Must be eligible and willing to obtain a Washington, DC license during the onboarding process (employer support and assistance are provided).
Nice To Haves
- Maryland (MD) and Virginia (VA) licensures are a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient individual psychotherapy and treatment planning using a structured, time-limited approach.
- Conduct clinical intake assessments.
- Provide cross-coverage support as needed across various care levels, including Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), addiction services, and group therapy.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Ensure all services meet Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) and Joint Commission accreditation standards.
