About The Position

Palo Alto Therapy is a therapist-owned practice seeking a licensed or associate therapist who enjoys working with a varied caseload including individuals, teens, adults, and couples. We offer a collaborative and supportive culture, with an administrative team that handles scheduling, billing, and marketing, allowing therapists to focus on clinical work. Clients are matched based on clinical interest and fit. We offer hybrid options for in-person and telehealth work.

Requirements

• Active California license (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC) or associate registration.
• Experience working with individuals, teens, and couples.
• Comfortable using evidence-based approaches (CBT and other modalities).
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Available at least 2 afternoons or evenings per week.
• Willingness to work in Palo Alto, Menlo Park, or San Jose, CA.

Nice To Haves

• Training in Gottman Method or EFT.
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to individuals, teens, adults, and couples.
• Work with a varied caseload across multiple populations.
• Focus on clinical work, with administrative tasks handled by the support team.
• Participate in weekly consultation and skills groups.
• Engage in couples-specific consultation group and supervision if building a couples caseload.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches such as CBT.

Benefits

• Competitive Compensation: $95–$110/hour (part-time) or $90,000 salary (full-time) as a W-2 employee.
