About The Position

Mount Notre Dame Health Center is seeking a results driven and engaging Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. This position will provide mission-driven leadership and oversee the daily operations of our faith-based long-term care community serving religious women. The Health Center is operated by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and provides a homelike environment for women who have devoted their lives to teaching, service, and caring for others. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional care, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and a Sister-centered culture that honors the dignity, values, and mission of the Sisters we serve.

Requirements

  • Current Ohio Nursing Home Administrator license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Long-Term Care Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of leadership experience in long-term care, senior living, or healthcare administration.
  • Have a strong knowledge of federal and state surveys.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, quality standards, financial management, and staff development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and oversight of Health Center operations, ensuring high-quality care and services for all Sisters.
  • Plan and implement facility programs and activities in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Governing Board.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and accreditation requirements.
  • Develop and oversee budgets, financial performance, and operational planning.
  • Lead and support department managers and interdisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals and maintain quality standards.
  • Lead facility in federal and state surveys, which includes instructing department managers on requirements to reduce citations.
  • Foster a homelike environment that supports the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being of the Sisters.
  • Monitor quality outcomes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with staff, external healthcare providers, contracted hospice partners, vendors, and community resources to ensure seamless care and services.
  • Manage communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving among Sisters, staff, families, or other care partners.
  • Maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct, confidentiality, and advocacy for the Sisters.
  • Flexibility is required to respond to operational needs, including participation in call-back situations during emergencies and availability outside of regularly scheduled working hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Collaboration with Human Resources department on staffing needs, policy development and operational functions.
