About The Position

Care Initiatives is hiring a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to join their team at Heritage Specialty Care, a 171-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Heritage Specialty Care has a CCDI unit and was certified as Seasons Memory Care in 2026. The facility has invested in a leadership team, including an Assistant Administrator, to collaborate on goals and initiatives, strengthen the leadership team, promote positive outcomes, drive culture, and focus on customer service excellence. This role is for an experienced and engaged LNHA to join the Heritage Specialty Care team. Care Initiatives is the largest single operator of quality nursing homes in Iowa, a nonprofit healthcare organization with over forty skilled nursing communities, eight hospice offices, and an internal staffing agency, committed to providing exceptional care and support.

Requirements

Valid Iowa Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing required, or ability to activate NHA licensure in Iowa.
Proven leadership experience in skilled nursing is highly desired.
Ability to build relationships and lead a team through change with professionalism and empathy.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned skilled nursing facility to ensure quality of care and operational excellence.

Promote a strong culture of service, accountability, and resident-centered care.
