About The Position

Care Initiatives is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to join their team at Heritage Specialty Care in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Heritage Specialty Care is a 171-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) with a CCDI unit and has been Seasons Memory Care Certified since 2026. The organization has invested in leadership by creating an Assistant Administrator role to collaborate with the Administrator and department heads, aiming to strengthen the leadership team, promote positive outcomes, drive culture, and focus on customer service excellence. This is an opportunity to make a difference as part of a leading nonprofit healthcare organization in Iowa, which operates over forty skilled nursing communities and eight hospice offices.

Requirements

Valid Iowa Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing required, or ability to activate NHA licensure in Iowa.
Proven leadership experience in skilled nursing is highly desired.
Ability to build relationships and lead a team through change with professionalism and empathy.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned skilled nursing facility to ensure quality of care and operational excellence.
Lead and support teams by fostering collaborations, compassion, continuous improvement, and staff development.
Develop and execute operational strategies to maintain high-quality resident care and positive outcomes.
Promote a strong culture of service, accountability, and resident-centered care.
