NFI North is seeking Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNA’s) for each of our Specialized Residential Homes in Newport NH. There are two (2) sites in Newport with five (5) individuals living at each of our Specialty Homes. We are looking to fill the following shifts: Wednesday – Saturday and Sunday – Wednesday, nights and weekends. These new programs will augment our existing continuum of care in large part due to our continued growth in serving this valuable population in NH. The Agency has a progressive reputation of providing comprehensive clinical, nursing, medical, case management, vocational, educational and peer support services and life skills to adults living with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) and/or complex medical needs. The participants residing in these treatment facilities are seeking independent home-like living.
Requirements
- Meet all regulatory compliance requirements for LNA, performing clinical nursing procedures and functions within the New Hampshire (NH) LNA Scope of Practice.
- High School Diploma
- valid NH Nursing Assistance License (LNA)
- current BLS certificate
Nice To Haves
- Two years experience in clinical setting and primary care/ambulatory setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide fundamental living skills to participants, to include medical treatment under the NH LNA scope of practice.
- Assess and documents patient vital signs including height and weight, and reports all abnormal findings to the RN and/or provider.
- Assist with patient intake and discharge procedures as directed by the RN or Medical Provider.
