About The Position
The Arbors of Shelburne is looking for LNAs to join their Evening Shift team. As a Licensed Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment. This position offers opportunities for Full Time, Part Time, and Per Diem employment, with working hours from 2p-10p and every other weekend. The role emphasizes compassionate care, assisting residents with daily living activities, documenting care, reporting changes in resident health, engaging residents in meaningful activities, and providing emotional support. Customer service skills are essential to ensure residents receive exceptional care.
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license in the state of Vermont.
- Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
- Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
- Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
- Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
- Other duties as needed.
