About The Position

Join Visiting Angels as a compassionate LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) and provide one-on-one care that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Requirements

Current CNA or LNA license preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience caring for seniors and/or adults with disabilities, professionally or personally
Dementia and Alzheimer's care experience is a plus
Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional
Must genuinely enjoy helping others
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
Valid driver's license
Reliable vehicle
Active automobile insurance (required)
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Comfortable using a smartphone to clock in/out and complete documentation

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
Prepare meals and assist with meal planning
Perform light housekeeping and laundry
Provide medication reminders
Run errands and grocery shop
Transport clients to appointments and community activities
Document care using a smartphone application
Help promote each client's safety, comfort, and independence
