About The Position
Join Visiting Angels as a compassionate LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) and provide one-on-one care that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. We offer a supportive team, meaningful work, and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience caring for seniors and/or adults with disabilities, professionally or personally
- Dementia and Alzheimer's care experience is a plus
- Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Comfortable using a smartphone to clock in/out and complete documentation

Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide medication reminders
- Run errands and grocery shop
- Transport clients to appointments and community activities
- Document care using a smartphone application
- Help promote each client's safety, comfort, and independence
