About The Position

Ledgewood Bay is hiring a per diem Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), with weekend hours also available. The role supports residents with daily activities and essential care, including personal care, meals, laundry, and prompt responses to their needs. LNAs work with other care professionals, document observations and resident conditions, follow safety and infection-control measures, and participate in training to improve caregiving skills. A criminal background screening is required.

Requirements

• Successfully complete the state competency exam for LNA certification.
• Ability to move and assist residents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Genuine care and empathy for residents’ well-being.
• Ability to accurately record resident information and vital signs.
• Ability to work with healthcare professionals as part of the Wellness team.
• Follow ethical standards and protect resident privacy.
• Criminal background screening is required.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Serve meals and ensure residents receive appropriate nutrition while following dietary guidelines and preferences.
• Manage laundry to maintain clean and comfortable conditions for residents.
• Address residents’ needs promptly and empathetically.
• Work with other care professionals to support an effective care team.
• Record observations and updates about residents’ conditions accurately.
• Follow safety rules and infection-control measures.
• Participate in training and education to improve caregiving skills.
