LNA Licensed Nursing Assistant Part Time
About The Position
The Arbors of Shelburne is seeking a compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join its evening-shift team. The LNA provides care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment and helps ensure they receive meaningful, exceptional care. The position is part time, with hours from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Compensation is up to $26.50 per hour, including shift differentials and incentives. The role requires a valid Licensed Nursing Assistant license in Vermont. Prior experience in skilled nursing or assisted living is preferred but not required; experience working with people with dementia is desired. Requirements
- Valid CNA, HHA, or LNA license; the posting specifically requires a valid Licensed Nursing Assistant license in Vermont.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
- Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
- Perform other duties as needed.
