This posting is the primary application for all LNA positions, including Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem across day, evening, and overnight shifts. Requirements

  • Credentials verifying appropriate certificate and license in New York State- RN, LPN, LNA, PT, PTA; current State license/Certificate required.
  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing required.

  • Caring, respectful attitude toward residents required.
  • Physical stamina for constant activity required.
  • Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.

  • This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
  • In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.

Responsibilities

  • Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNA) provide personal and nursing care to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents in Elderwood skilled nursing facilities (SNF).
  • They are under the direction of a licensed nurse.
  • State specific certification is required.
