About The Position

Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) Opportunities – Full-Time, Part-Time & Per Diem at Elderwood at Burlington. Elderwood at Burlington is under new leadership and is building a special environment. They are seeking compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered professionals for Licensed Nursing Assistant opportunities. This posting serves as the primary application for all LNA opportunities, including Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem positions across day, evening, and overnight shifts. The facility is hosting a 'Careers in Care' event for interested professionals to explore opportunities, meet leadership, learn about the vision, and interview on-site. Applications are also accepted for those unable to attend the event.

Requirements

  • State specific certification is required for LNAs.
  • Credentials verifying appropriate certificate and license in New York State- RN, LPN, LNA, PT, PTA; current State license/Certificate required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal and nursing care to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents in Elderwood skilled nursing facilities (SNF) under the direction of a licensed nurse.
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, assess, and evaluate the care of residents to ensure the highest degree of quality care and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times (for RN role).
  • Screen prospective residents for placement within the Elderwood organization, acting as the first point of contact to help families navigate care options and ensuring appropriate evaluation for services (for RN Admissions Coordinator role).
  • Manage the daily clinical regimen of each resident and sub-acute patient, gaining extensive clinical experience and providing advanced care in a home-like setting (for LPN role).
  • Assist with ensuring the health and well-being of residents by providing comprehensive and quality therapy services, administering skilled physical therapy treatments (for PT role).
  • Assist with ensuring the health and well-being of individuals by making recommendations for a speech-language therapy treatment plan, if necessary, and carrying out treatments; conducting audiometric screening (for SLP role).
  • Plan and lead a variety of recreational activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities to enhance quality of life and build community (for Activity Leader role).
  • Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the facility through routine and specialized floor care (for Floor Technician role).
  • Provide housekeeping support to maintain the cleanliness of all facility areas, including resident rooms, common areas, and offices (for Housekeeping Aide role).
  • Perform repairs, upkeep, and grounds maintenance to ensure a safe and welcoming environment, and safely transport residents using company vehicles for admissions, medical appointments, and facility transfers (for Maintenance Assistant/Transport Driver role).
  • Manage and maintain accurate medical records to ensure regulatory compliance, support census reporting, and contribute to quality assurance initiatives (for Medical Records Coordinator role).
  • Provide therapeutic and social programming designed to meet the physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of residents in the memory care community (for Memory Care Program Specialist role).
  • Provide administrative support, coordinate document placement in Medical Records, perform secretarial duties, assist with inventory and requisitioning of supplies, and schedule appointments and diagnostic needs (for Unit Clerk role).
