About The Position
We’re looking for a dependable and flexible PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Assisted Living team! This position is ideal for an LPN looking to pick up occasional extra shifts while helping support our nursing team with coverage for vacations, scheduled time off, call-offs, and other staffing needs.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in good standing
- Flexibility to pick up available day and/or night shifts
- Dependable and willing to assist with planned and unexpected coverage needs
- Strong communication and clinical judgment skills
- Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Licensed Nurse in Ohio
Nice To Haves
- Assisted Living or senior care experience preferred
- One-year experience in a health care environment or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents.
- Assist with other aspects of residents' daily care and routine.
- Properly store medications and equipment and keeps the medication room clean and orderly.
- Accurately maintain resident records regarding medication distribution.
- Ensure prescription label and storage procedures meet state standards.
- Monitor health, safety, and well-being of the residents.
- Promptly report any changes in resident’s physical condition and/or behavior to Wellness Director.
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
