About The Position
Marquis Companies is a growing and dynamic healthcare organization with facilities across California, Oregon, and Nevada. They offer Post-Acute Rehab and Assisted Living Facilities, Marquis at Home, Consonus Rehab, and Consonus Pharmacy. Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-Call positions are available. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), responsibilities include administering medications to residents as ordered by physicians, refilling and cleaning the stock cart, and adhering to established nursing standards. As a Registered Nurse (RN), responsibilities include ensuring quality nursing care, directing nursing assistants, and planning shift services, programs, and activities.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State.
- Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, the nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services.
- Refilling and cleaning the stock cart.
- Administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state.
- Other nursing duties as assigned.
- Meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities.
