About The Position

Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing is seeking a Full Time Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA) for their Memory Care unit. This role involves assisting residents with nursing care and daily living activities in a manner that meets or exceeds state, federal, and facility expectations. The position is located at 30 Porter Drive, Middlebury, Vermont, and operates on an evening shift from 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM. This is a bargaining union position.

Requirements

• Completion of state approved training and competency evaluation.
• Able to read, write, and speak English language.
• Able to communicate and work effectively with others.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• LNA with good work history in similar facilities preferred, or enrollment in LNA program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing nursing care and related non-professional services to residents.
• Perform tasks for which the employee has been prepared as competent.
• Meet or exceed state, federal, and facility expectations in the delivery of care.

Benefits

• $1,000 LNA sign-on bonus (subject to applicable taxes) is available for this position! The first half is payable after successful completion of the probationary period (typically 90 days), and the second half is payable after six months. Current UVMHN employees are excluded from eligibility for this bonus.
