About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our Options Homeschool program, a supplemental initiative designed to support students' learning journeys. As a part-time teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education to our middle and high school students, offering them a unique and flexible learning experience. Requirements

• Valid teaching license or certification for middle/high school education.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a homeschool or alternative education setting.
• Strong subject matter expertise in the relevant middle/high school curriculum areas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and parents.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic homeschool program team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of homeschool students.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons to middle and high school students in a homeschool setting.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic growth.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
• Collaborate with the homeschool program team to align teaching methods and curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay updated on best practices.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
• Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment, addressing any student behavioral issues promptly.
• Stay informed about current educational trends and incorporate innovative teaching strategies.
