About The Position

Backpack Healthcare is hiring a full-time, Maryland-licensed therapist to provide online mental health care to children, teens, young adults, and their families. The clinician will manage a caseload of 25–36 sessions per week, with referrals supporting the development of a consistent caseload. Care is delivered through telehealth in a fully remote environment. Most clinicians work weekday afternoons and evenings, typically 2:00–9:00 PM; weekend availability is a plus. The role includes conducting intakes and assessments, creating client-centered and trauma-informed treatment plans, providing individual, family, and group therapy, coordinating care and educating families, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The therapist maintains accurate and timely documentation in the EHR and builds therapeutic relationships with children, adolescents, and families. Compensation is $65 per billable hour for independently licensed LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT clinicians, and $45 per billable hour for LMSW or LGPC clinicians, for whom supervision is provided and openings are limited. Eligible clinicians may earn monthly performance-based bonuses. The organization describes opportunities for professional development, mentorship, supervision, and clinical leadership. Backpack Healthcare is a clinician-led, minority-owned organization and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
