Licensed Mental Health Therapist - Arizona
About The Position
Backpack Healthcare is expanding into Arizona and seeking licensed mental health therapists to join their team. This is a part-time, remote role focused on providing mental health care to children, teens, and young adults via telehealth. Clinicians joining now will have the opportunity to help establish care in Arizona and shape the program's growth. The role offers flexible scheduling, with most clinicians working weekday afternoons and evenings, and weekend availability being a plus. Backpack Healthcare handles referrals and administrative tasks, allowing therapists to focus on client care.
Requirements
- Active Arizona license: LPC, LMFT or LCSW
- Experience with children, teens, and families (or a strong interest in this population)
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
- Committed to trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice

Responsibilities
- Carry a caseload of 15–22 sessions per week, providing individual and family therapy via telehealth.
- Conduct assessments and build client-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including therapists, PMHNPs, and psychiatrists.
- Maintain timely documentation in the EHR.
- Support families with education and care coordination.
