Licensed Mental Health Therapist
About The Position
Bethlehem Counseling Associates (BCA) is seeking to contract with a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to treat 25-35 clients per week. This independent contractor position offers flexible scheduled hours to support work-life balance. A furnished office is available for in-person sessions, with hybrid flexibility for telehealth from home. BCA is a premier counseling practice in the Lehigh Valley with over 40 years of experience and a 97% client satisfaction rate, offering individual, child/family, and couples counseling, as well as medication management. With over 30 independently contracting therapists, BCA covers a wide range of clinical specialties.
Requirements
- LCSW or LPC license
- Treat 25-35 clients per week
- Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
- Participate in peer consultation

Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain rapport with clients
- Evaluate and diagnose mental health symptoms during intake sessions
- Create treatment plans that reflect clients' goals to reduce mental health symptoms
- Complete session progress notes in a timely manner for insurance submission and reimbursement
- Conduct ongoing appointments with clients that reflect their treatment goals
- Provide crisis management and intervention as needed
