About The Position

Charlie Health is seeking exceptional Licensed Mental Health Therapists/Counselors to provide services to adolescent and young adult clients. The role involves enhancing programming and delivering the best possible care to clients, focusing on individuals with complex needs. The company aims to expand access to meaningful care and drive better outcomes from the comfort of home through personalized, virtual care rooted in connection. Clinicians can focus on providing high-quality mental health care as the Operations team handles administrative complexities. The role requires a commitment to self-care and addressing the rural mental health crisis.

Requirements

• Must hold an independent or associate licensure in California (APCC, ASW, AMFT, LCSW, LPCC, LMFT accepted).
• Master’s degree in mental health or related field.
• Experienced with teens and young adults.
• Passionate and skilled in group services.
• Collaborative, creative, and engaging on video.
• Available evenings to meet client needs.
• Familiar with cloud-based tools (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox), EMR, and outcomes software.
• Availability between 12-40 hours/week depending on part-time or full-time W2.

Nice To Haves

• EMDR certification a plus.
• MI certification a plus.
• Experience with youth/young adults highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to adolescent and young adult clients.
• Enhance programming and provide the best possible care to clients.
• Integrate multiple modalities (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI certification a plus).
• Provide group services.
• Participate in case discussions.
• Build strong relationships with clients (maximum of 8 clients in a group).
• Engage on video.
