Licensed Mental Health Therapist (Charlotte, North Carolina)
About The Position
Charlie Health is hiring a few exceptional Licensed Mental Health Therapists/Counselors to provide mental health services to our adolescent and young adult clients. We’re eager to work with forward-thinking mental health and substance use professionals to enhance our programming and provide the best possible care to our clients. Positions are available as part-time or full-time W-2. Part-Time requires a minimum of 12 hours/week with flexible scheduling. Full-Time requires 40 hours/week and evening availability. The role involves providing personalized, virtual care rooted in connection, focusing on people with complex needs to expand access to meaningful care and drive better outcomes from the comfort of home. The Operations team handles administrative complexities, allowing clinicians to focus on providing high-quality mental health care. Clinicians participate in case discussions for collaboration and skill development. With a maximum of 8 clients in a group, there's an opportunity to build strong relationships and do in-depth work for sustainable healing. Free CEUs are provided for ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- MUST HOLD AN INDEPENDENT OR ASSOCIATE LICENSURE IN NORTH CAROLINA
- Licenses Accepted: LCSW-A, LCMHCA, LMFTA, LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT
- Master’s degree in mental health or related field
- Experience with teens and young adults
- Passionate and skilled in group services
- Collaborative, creative, and engaging on video
- Available evenings to meet client needs
- Committed to self-care and addressing the rural mental health crisis
- Availability between 12-40 hours/week depending on part-time or full-time W2
- Familiar with cloud-based tools (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox), EMR, and outcomes software
- Must complete several state background checks for clearance to see clients.
Nice To Haves
- EMDR certification a plus
- MI certification a plus
- Experience with youth/young adults highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide mental health services to adolescent and young adult clients.
