Licensed Outpatient Mental Health Clinician (Harrisburg/York)
About The Position
Commonwealth Clinical Group, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professional with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or Forensic Psychology and an LAP, LPC, LSW, LCSW, or LMFT. This role involves working with adolescents and adults in outpatient settings in York and Harrisburg county locations. The clinician will use a Cognitive Behavioral Approach and a mix of group, individual, and family therapy to improve lives, change behavior patterns, and enhance community safety. Clients may be court-mandated or self-referred, and they may present with Problem Sexual Behaviors, Domestic violence issues, or general Mental Health concerns.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related Human Services Field
- PA Licensed: LPC, LMFT, LSW, LCSW
- LAPC considered
- Interest in working with children, adolescents and adults
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
- PA Criminal History Clearance (Act 34)
- PA Department of Human Services: Use service code 1KG738
- Official transcript from graduate degree
- Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Certificate

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide behavioral therapy and mental health counseling to clients, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support client care and crisis intervention.
- Engage with families in counseling sessions, particularly for children and individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Stay updated on clinical research and best practices in behavioral health.
