About The Position
We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to work with clients across Hawaii through virtual therapy sessions. In this position, you will help individuals better understand their symptoms, strengthen coping strategies, and work through personal challenges with consistent clinical support. The right candidate is organized, clinically sound, and comfortable building rapport through telehealth.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Active LMHC license in Hawaii
- Previous counseling or psychotherapy experience
- Ability to provide care through a virtual platform
- Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Hold scheduled video sessions with clients in a secure online setting
- Assess presenting concerns and determine appropriate treatment needs
- Provide therapy using evidence-based counseling approaches
- Help clients build practical tools for emotional regulation, stress management, and healthier thought patterns
- Respond to changes in client risk level according to clinical standards
- Use electronic health records and telehealth systems effectively
