About The Position
We are recruiting a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for a remote therapy position supporting clients in Rhode Island. This role centers on providing professional counseling services, helping clients manage mental health symptoms, and guiding them through treatment goals over time. You will be responsible for assessments, therapy sessions, documentation, and clinical follow-through in a full-time telehealth setting.
Requirements
- Active Rhode Island LMHC license in good standing
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience providing therapy or counseling services
- Strong understanding of assessments, treatment planning, and documentation
- Strong communication and time management skills
Responsibilities
- Provide remote mental health counseling to assigned clients
- Perform intake reviews and assess presenting concerns
- Build individualized treatment plans with clear objectives
- Deliver therapy using evidence-based counseling approaches
- Monitor client risk, safety, and overall progress
- Keep client records accurate, complete, and up to date
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and Rhode Island licensing standards
- Communicate professionally with clients and internal clinical teams
