About The Position
We are hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide virtual counseling services for clients in Rhode Island. This role focuses on helping clients understand their mental health concerns, build useful coping skills, and make steady progress through regular therapy sessions. You will work with clients through a secure telehealth platform, complete assessments, guide treatment planning, and document care accurately.
Requirements
- Active Rhode Island LMHC license in good standing
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience providing therapy or counseling services
- Strong understanding of assessments, treatment planning, and documentation
- Strong communication and time management skills
Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy through secure telehealth sessions
- Complete intake assessments and review client concerns
- Develop treatment plans based on client needs and goals
- Support clients with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and related concerns
- Track client progress and update care plans when needed
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation
