About The Position
This remote LMHC position supports clients who are seeking professional help for mental health concerns, relationship stress, adjustment issues, emotional overwhelm, and major life changes. Sessions are provided through telehealth, allowing clients to receive care from a convenient and private setting. As the treating counselor, you will provide clinical assessments, therapy sessions, treatment planning, and ongoing support. This is a practical, client-facing role for a licensed professional who is confident providing care through virtual appointments.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Active LMHC license in Hawaii
- Previous counseling or psychotherapy experience
- Ability to provide care through a virtual platform
- Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Provide telehealth counseling to clients throughout Hawaii
- Conduct initial evaluations and identify treatment priorities
- Create clear treatment plans with measurable goals
- Provide counseling for mood concerns, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, grief, stress, and adjustment challenges
- Track progress over time and revise treatment plans when needed
- Complete session notes and clinical records within required timelines
