About The Position
A full-time opportunity is available for a Hawaii-licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide therapy through a secure telehealth platform. This role centers on helping clients work through emotional, behavioral, and life-related concerns in a structured virtual setting. You will conduct assessments, provide ongoing counseling, create treatment plans, and support clients as they build healthier coping skills and work toward realistic goals.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Active LMHC license in Hawaii
- Previous counseling or psychotherapy experience
- Ability to provide care through a virtual platform
- Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling sessions through telehealth
- Complete intake assessments and gather client history
- Develop treatment plans based on client needs and goals
- Support clients managing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, and life transitions
- Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Identify risk concerns and follow proper clinical protocols
