About The Position
A growing telehealth team is hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide full-time virtual counseling services in Hawaii. This role involves working directly with clients to understand their concerns, provide ongoing therapy, and help them make steady progress in treatment. You will be responsible for managing therapy sessions, completing documentation, and maintaining a professional standard of care in a fully remote environment.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Active LMHC license in Hawaii
- Previous counseling or psychotherapy experience
- Ability to provide care through a virtual platform
- Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients through secure video-based therapy sessions
- Review client concerns, symptoms, history, and treatment goals
- Provide counseling for common mental health and emotional concerns
- Support clients with practical strategies for coping, communication, and daily functioning
- Maintain organized clinical notes and treatment records
- Monitor client safety and follow escalation procedures when needed
