Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
About The Position
We are hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide remote therapy services to clients through a secure telehealth platform. In this role, you will meet with clients virtually, complete clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, provide ongoing counseling, and document care in a timely and professional manner. This position is a good fit for an LMHC who enjoys steady client care, clear clinical structure, and the ability to support people from a remote setting. You will help clients work through concerns such as anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional health needs.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
- Active LMHC license in Florida
- License must be current and in good standing
- Previous experience providing therapy to adults, families, or diverse client populations
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy sessions through a secure telehealth platform
- Complete intake assessments and gather relevant clinical history
- Create and update treatment plans based on each client’s needs
- Use appropriate evidence-based counseling approaches during sessions
- Monitor client progress and adjust care plans when needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow HIPAA standards and company telehealth procedures
- Refer clients to higher levels of care when clinically appropriate
