About The Position

Responsibilities include completing assessments and diagnosis; recovery planning; liaison with other clinical service providers; provision of treatment and crisis services during regular business hours; documentation of client progress, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Demonstrates the ability to analyze clinical needs and social situations, identifying problems and alternative courses of actions, while demonstrating multicultural sensitivity and effective communication skills. Requires willingness to be flexible, resourceful, and creative in problem solving. Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in counseling, social work, psychology or other qualified social, behavioral or human services field
  • Licensure in one of the following: LPHA, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Ph.D.
  • Valid Texas driver's license and an acceptable driving record
  • Personal automobile liability insurance as required by the state of Texas
  • Knowledgeable of psychotropic medications and DSM V
  • Working computer skills including MS Word

  • Prior mental health experience
