The incumbent provides mental health therapy for eligible students in the Student Counseling Center (SCC.) The clinician provides clinical psychosocial assessment, individual therapy, couples and family therapy (as applicable), group therapy and independently documents the workload in the confidential medical record system. The clinician will provide outreach services, campus resiliency trainings, group therapy/group workshop services and partnerships with student organizations to promote a welcoming and affirming mental health environment for student. The incumbent will be responsible for providing outreach and educational presentations surrounding posttraumatic growth, suicide prevention and awareness, and resilience to the campus community and will provide crisis intervention services to the general student population. The Incumbent provides these services in a very independent fashion with consultative supervision with the Director of the Student Counseling Center.
