About The Position

Walmart is seeking a dynamic and experienced Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee the predictive and preventative maintenance of our facilities within a regional area. In this role, you will lead a team of dedicated technicians, ensuring our buildings operate efficiently and sustainably while providing a safe and comfortable environment for our associates and customers. This role requires approximately 50% or more travel within the region. You will work directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on their facility services needs, as well as with different vendors and contractors. Responsibilities include reporting and analytics, maintaining up-to-date contractor licenses, participating in training programs to ensure familiarity with the latest regulatory requirements, and obtaining and securing all necessary permits and scheduling inspections as mandated by pertinent mechanical or building codes, when applicable.

Requirements

  • General Facilities Services / Overall Building Maintenance Experience
  • 3-5 years electrical, plumbing, and or mechanical experience
  • Leadership skills – Able to lead, motivate, and develop others
  • Communication/Interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving skills – Root cause and breakdown analysis experience
  • Customer service
  • Maintain Mechanical Contractor license in state of employment
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • PMP Certification
  • Lean Six Sigma
