About The Position

Achieve Beyond is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) to join our team in Long Island, NY. This role involves providing services to children with special needs and helping them reach their goals. We are a team of passionate therapists providing excellent pediatric therapy, specializing in evaluations and ongoing services in homes, community, and clinic settings. Our culture is centered around collaboration and support to ensure high-quality services and adherence to strong ethical standards. We offer ABA, Speech, Occupational, Social Work, and Physical therapy, as well as Special Education/SEIT services for children and families in the metro New York area, Virginia/DC area, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Delaware.

Requirements

• Must have a passion for working with children and families!
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of New York
• Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of experience working with children birth–5 is preferred but not necessary
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing special instruction and/or ABA services to children (ages birth-3) in their most natural environment.
• Educate families and caregivers on applicable intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
• Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated.
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations).
• Submit required records within the established timelines.
