About The Position
Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine is seeking a compassionate Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) as a Group Facilitator. This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys group therapy, psychoeducation, treatment planning, and helping individuals build skills that support recovery and stability. LCSW preferred, but qualified LMSW candidates are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program
- Current Tennessee LMSW license
- Strong communication, documentation, and group facilitation skills
Nice To Haves
- Tennessee LCSW license
- Experience with adult and/or geriatric populations
- Training in CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, substance use treatment, or other evidence-based practices
Responsibilities
- Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups
- Develop and support individualized treatment plans
- Complete timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment
- Connect patients with community resources and supports
