About The Position
Provides evaluation and individual/group therapy within an Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health setting. Responsible for providing intensive casework, assessment, intervention, and referral services to patients and/or their families. Emphasis is placed on providing for patient’s social needs, exercising initiative and independent judgment based upon professional knowledge, experience, and hospital policy. Acts as a liaison to other services along the continuum of care and community support services.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate school of social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling.
- Licensed to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) OR Licensed Master Social Worker ( LMSW) OR Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) OR Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) through the State of New York.
