About The Position

Therapy My Way is a growing private mental health practice in Plainview, NY, seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our team. We are looking for a clinician who enjoys working collaboratively while developing meaningful, long-term relationships with clients. Our practice provides administrative support and an established referral network so clinicians can focus on what matters most—providing excellent clinical care.

Requirements

• Current New York State LMSW license
• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable, organized, and able to maintain timely clinical documentation
• Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Nice To Haves

• Prior outpatient or private-practice experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults
• Conduct assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with families and other providers when appropriate
• Participate in clinical supervision and team meetings
• Maintain professional and ethical standards of care
