About The Position

Our massage therapists have a holistic approach to wellness. Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa is a national franchise that specializes in massage, facials, and hair removal services. At our Hand and Stone location in Leander, you can focus on doing what you love (transforming lives through massage and healing) while we focus on taking care of you! We would not be where we are without our talented Massage Therapists. Whether a guest comes in for pain relief or just needs a day to relax, we want everyone to leave our Spa feeling refreshed and revitalized.

Requirements

• Active TX Massage Therapy License
• 20 BOOKABLE hours per week, 2 weekend days per month
• 30 BOOKABLE hours per week, 2 weekend days per month
• Must meet eligibility requirements

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of other various modalities preferred (Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Deep Tissue), but not required.

Responsibilities

• Active TX Massage Therapy License is needed for this role
• Proficiency in Swedish Massage
• Knowledge of other various modalities preferred (Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Deep Tissue), but not required.
• Treat clients in a professional caring manner
• Develop and propose client treatment plans unique to their individual needs
• Provide clients with guidance and information about the benefits of massage as an integral part of their overall wellness program
• Maintain detailed treatment records electronically
• Adherence to state licensing laws and regulations
• Carry liability insurance.
• Able to communicate effectively with clients, spa management and staff
• Comply with local and state massage therapist licensing laws and regulations
• Strong team player
• Excellent customer service skills and work ethic
• Professional manner, discretion and appearance
