Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) - Medical Massage
About The Position
Kneaded Therapy, a medical massage clinic in Fort Lauderdale, is seeking Licensed Massage Therapists to provide therapeutic medical massage focused on helping patients make progress. Treatments are customized to each patient rather than delivered as a standard relaxation routine. Therapists review patient intake information, discuss goals, assess needs, and adapt techniques and pressure accordingly. They may follow physician guidance or clearance provided by a patient, communicate about treatment plans, comfort, and aftercare, maintain a clean and professional treatment space, keep accurate records in line with safety and privacy practices, and arrive prepared for scheduled appointments. Appointments are booked for therapists. Tables and linens are provided; therapists supply their own lotions and creams, without oils. The role is offered with full-time or part-time schedules and pays $35–$40 per treatment hour based on experience, plus gratuity.
Requirements
- Active Florida massage therapy license in good standing.
- Professional liability insurance.
- At least 2 years of massage therapy experience.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and muscle function, and ability to apply that knowledge in assessment and treatment.
- Skill in deep tissue, sports, neuromuscular, trigger point, medical massage, and cupping.
- Genuine passion for massage therapy and patient care.
- Professional, friendly communication.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Professional references and a background check are required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience or skill in ETPS, lymphatic drainage, and prenatal massage.
- Schedule flexibility.
Responsibilities
