Licensed Massage Therapist - Physical Therapy Clinic - Part Time
About The Position
Resolve Wellness, the massage therapy division of Rehab United Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy, is seeking a talented and dedicated massage therapist to join their growing team in San Diego. They are a leading provider of exceptional wellness services, committed to helping clients achieve optimal health and well-being. They are an approved provider of massage therapy services for Veterans through the VA Community Care Network and also serve a thriving community of cash-pay clients seeking specialized care for injury, chronic pain, and performance optimization. This part-time position is ideal for a therapist who is confident in clinical massage skills and passionate about working with diverse populations, including Veterans, athletes, and individuals with chronic pain or recovery goals. The role offers mentorship from experienced professionals and opportunities for growth within a supportive, family-oriented environment. Hiring is for their Kearny Mesa and Carmel Valley clinics, with potential to hire one or two therapists to meet client demand.
Requirements
- Massage Therapy License in the State of California
- Versatility in massage modalities
- CPR Certification
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to accurately document client chart notes (SOAP Notes)
- Ability to receive and implement direction provided by medical professionals
Nice To Haves
- Training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Cranio Sacral Therapy
- Specialized training in Cranio Sacral Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and/or Prenatal massage
- Experience with cupping and/or instrument-assisted soft tissue modalities (IASTM)
- Knowledge of Mindbody Online software
- Experience working in medical or chiropractic setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide a variety of therapeutic massage modalities, including sports massage, deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, prenatal, and Swedish.
- Collaborate with physical therapists to create personalized treatment plans for clients.
- Maintain accurate SOAP note documentation and ensure client safety and satisfaction.
- Contribute to the team's marketing efforts and participate in community outreach initiatives.
