About The Position
We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to deliver telehealth counseling services to individuals, couples, and families in New York. This position involves completing assessments, providing ongoing therapy, developing treatment goals, and supporting clients as they manage emotional concerns, relationship challenges, and family-related stress.
Requirements
- Active LMFT license in New York
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with individuals, couples, or families
- Comfortable providing therapy through telehealth
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to manage a full-time remote caseload
Responsibilities
- Provide telehealth therapy services to clients in New York
- Complete clinical assessments and gather relevant client information
- Develop treatment goals that are clear and appropriate for each client
- Help clients address family conflict, relationship strain, stress, anxiety, and communication concerns
- Review progress during treatment and adjust care as needed
- Complete documentation in a timely and professional manner
