About The Position
We are seeking a licensed, license-eligible, and/or certified school psychologist within the Department of Psychology at The Hagedorn Little Village School, Jack Joel Center for Special Children. This position allows for the opportunity to work within a department of psychologists and behavior specialists. Consultation with therapists of other disciplines (speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and movement therapy) is encouraged. Our school serves children 2-12 years of age with a variety of diagnoses, developmental disabilities, and levels of functioning.
Requirements
- Licensed or License-Eligible Psychologist
- Certified School Psychologist
- Interpersonal skills necessary to work on a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge regarding behavioral interventions
- Knowledge regarding child development

Responsibilities
- Psychological and psychoeducational evaluations
- Diagnostic assessment
- Conducting and writing Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans
