About The Position

The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking Master’s level, licensed or license-eligible Clinicians to join our Juvenile Justice Program. In this role, you will work with male youth in the Revocation/Detention Unit at the Westfield Youth Service Center, a secure Department of Youth Services (DYS) facility. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain specialized juvenile justice experience, provide vital care, and ensure that every youth is given a second chance for a better life. Requirements

Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, or a related clinical field.
Experience working within an involuntary residential or secure setting is required.
Extensive experience with learning-disordered adolescents or youth facing behavioral challenges.
Patience, compassion, and the ability to perform well under stress and in crisis situations.

Nice To Haves

Current professional license (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC) is preferred or actively license eligible.
Experience with DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, and substance abuse treatment is highly preferred.
Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply!
Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours is preferred to meet program needs.

Responsibilities

Conducting individual and group therapy, performing intakes, and facilitating crisis intervention.
Managing caseloads, coordinating medical and psychiatric care, and maintaining consistent contact with families, guardians, and appropriate collaterals.
Building strong working relationships with state agencies (such as DYS and DCF), community health organizations, and referral sources while ensuring clinical documentation meets all licensing requirements.
Ensuring all treatment components are seamlessly coordinated as a key member of the program’s administrative team.
