Requirements

  • Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License required
  • 5+ years of plumbing experience required
  • 2+ years of experience independently running service calls
  • Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, including gas, boilers, and advanced troubleshooting
  • Ability to understand plumbing layouts, system design, and how components connect and operate
  • Experience diagnosing and solving complex plumbing issues
  • Comfortable using technology, including tablets and digital service tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment
  • Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions for homeowners
  • Install and repair piping systems, valves, water heaters, fixtures, and appliances
  • Assemble and connect pipe sections using proper plumbing techniques, including soldering, brazing, and related methods
  • Perform system testing to identify leaks and ensure proper operation
  • Complete jobs according to plumbing codes, company standards, and customer expectations
  • Communicate professionally with customers and provide clear explanations of recommended solutions
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure customer satisfaction after every job
  • Assist and guide helpers with plumbing installations and repairs when needed
