About The Position

Valley View Hospital is seeking a PRN (as-needed) Licensed Inpatient Behavioral Health Provider to join its Behavioral Health team. The provider plans and coordinates quality, patient-centered behavioral health care, including assessment, care planning, intervention, consultation, and referrals when patients’ social, economic, emotional, or psychological circumstances create barriers to care or optimal functioning. The provider works within their behavioral health licensure, collaborates with other clinical personnel, maintains professional practice standards, communicates with physicians regarding psychosocial plans of care, and supports the goals and philosophy of the clinical area. The position is day shift with rotating weekends. Preferred licenses are LPC, LCSW, and LMFT; candidates with LSW, LMFTC, or LPCC licensure may be considered. A master’s degree in a behavioral health profession is required. The salary range is $32.68–$48.06 per hour, plus a 14% PRN differential. Entry salary depends on education, skill set, and experience.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health profession.
• DORA licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC; candidates with LSW, LMFTC, or LPCC licensure may be considered for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the delivery of quality, patient-centered behavioral health care.
• Provide assessment, care planning, intervention, consultation, and referrals for services when psychosocial circumstances present barriers to care or optimal functioning.
• Practice within the scope of the provider’s behavioral health licensure.
• Work cooperatively with other clinical personnel and provide leadership while maintaining professional behavioral health practice standards.
• Communicate with physicians regarding the psychosocial plan of care.
• Support the philosophy and goals of the clinical area.
